Using Astrology to Coach

Is Astrology for you?

Put simply, Astrology wasn’t ever really a thing for me. The extent of my knowledge was magazine astrology with  the likes of Mystic Meg and it felt a bit woo-woo. For someone that wants an explanation for things; hard evidence and something to ground myself in that makes sense (ironic really for someone with no earth in their chart) it required a leap of faith and openness to see things differently.

Things changed when I started to accept the idea that life and existence is just one big load of energies and actually, it would be remiss of me to not factor in what ‘as is above, is below’

How does Astrology work?

My simplistic view started with the fact that the earth is 70% water, we as humans are around 70% water (give or take, depending on your source) and planetary forces; the sun and moon most notably, govern everything. There would be no life on earth without these entities. The role that these forces play both in our entry into life and how we navigate it from there on became really interesting to me.

The complexities of any single persons’ birthchart and how it resonates with everyone we have worked with has been truly eye opening. It is like holding up a mirror and seeing yourself without ego or judgement and this is a powerful space to engage in thoughts and conversations about the areas of life that feel important.

Can Astrology be used to empower?

Where astrology moves from being interesting to important is how we can use it to take control of our own path by connecting to values, asking questions of ourselves, knowing our points of pleasure and pain and most importantly living authentically to our own goals and agenda. It can feel empowering, freeing and calming all at the same time with the right guidance.

Does Astrology allow you to see the future?

Ultimately, the least valuable idea of astrology and our chart is to see it as a vehicle for peering into the future or as something predetermined. Informed choice and free will to engage in the bits that will serve you and nurture  your ability to navigate the things that don’t is the most powerful tool we can have in evolving.
